Whether simple sleeve or complex machining
Automated machine technology meets high depth of added value
INOMETA Thermoplastics is the manufacturer for your thermoplastic wound product. For this purpose, we can rely on modern machine technology for tape winding including necessary upstream and downstream process steps.
Our range of services includes component processing in the form of turning, milling, grinding or joining with metallic materials. In addition, we have extensive expertise in the field of coating technology. Thus, our product portfolio ranges from simple components such as tubes, profiles and sleeves to multi-stage processed profiles with complex geometries.
Thermoplastic composites for mass production
Process-integrated cutting of thin-walled components
Thanks to our process automation, we are able to manufacture thin-walled components economically in large quantities. Manual cutting processes for components with a wall thickness of a few tenths of a millimeter and several 10,000 pcs/a cannot be reproduced. For this purpose, our plant technology is equipped with an automatic stripping and cutting process. This allows large quantities to be produced. To increase productivity, winding takes place on two axes. This means that the stripping and cutting process can take place parallel to the winding process.
Individual machining according to your requirements
We cut, turn, grind, mill, coat, join...
In order for composite solutions to develop their full potential, it is essential to integrate them as intelligently as possible into the desired overall material/part concept. Hybrid material concepts with connecting elements are often in demand. Customer-specific machining must be done or requirements for tolerances, surface quality or coatings that cannot be achieved directly in the winding process must be met. This form of system integration is one of INOMETA's core competencies.
Integrated process data management at INOMETA
In lightweight construction, product quality starts with process data
The acquisition, assignment and storage of relevant process data is becoming increasingly important in times of digitalization. In laser-supported tape winding, process data such as the tape's placement angle, the temperature in the area of the pressure roller, the tension of the supplied tape, the laser power and the consolidation pressure are permanently measured. From this data, customer-specific acceptance criteria can be defined .The process data are documented in component-specific protocols and can be linked to the wound product. This enables us to supply you not only with your composite component but also with the corresponding process data.
